Role Overview: Provide mobile ultrasound services in various settings, including nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and processing sites. You will travel to locations in a company-provided vehicle, performing ultrasound exams ordered by physicians and ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Self-dispatch or call into dispatch for case load information.
  • Arrive at the first case at the start of the assigned shift.
  • Unload portable sonographic equipment and perform exams.
  • Process ultrasounds and send images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Check voicemail and available cases regularly.
  • Wear company uniform and follow dress code.
  • Respond to urgent communications promptly.
  • Ensure accuracy of orders against patient charts before exams.
  • Verify patient identity using two identifiers.
  • Maintain vehicle and sonographic equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, peers, and clients.
  • Adhere to medical ethics and maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Train other technologists as required.
