Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Physical Therapist in Shelby, NC. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on rehabilitation. We welcome first-time travelers with prior acute care PT/OT experience.

General Info:

  • Minimum Years of Experience required: 1 year
  • Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Acute cases including post-op, neuro, general debility, COPD, and CHF

Required Licensure & Certifications:

  • PT: BLS, State licensure

Technology/Equipment:

  • EMR: EPIC

Floating:

  • May float between facilities

Orientation:

  • Onboarding to department: 4-5 days

Scheduling:

  • Weekend rotation: 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks
  • Holiday Expectations: All Holidays unless agreed upon RTO for acute care contracts
  • RTO: Approved by leader
  • Shift times: 5 - 8 hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays
