We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist specializing in Rehabilitation to join a leading healthcare facility in Kinston, NC. This is a contract position designed for professionals who are passionate about patient care and rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care assessment and treatment, including performing initial evaluations and assessing patients' motor and developmental skills to determine their deficits.
- Evaluate patients' physical and mental abilities and analyze data to determine a realistic rehabilitation plan of care.
- Document prognosis, treatment, response, and progress in patients' medical records while maintaining confidentiality.
- Facilitate patient mobility skills and manage equipment utilized in treatments.
- Educate patients and families on treatment procedures to be continued at home.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members in a multi-disciplinary fashion.
- Provide clinical educational opportunities for students and team members.
- Participate in continuing education for professional development to ensure techniques are consistent with best practices.
Requirements:
- NC Board of PT license required.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited physical therapy program.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required; travel experience is a must.
- EPIC experience is preferred.
