Join a leading healthcare organization as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Saint Paul, MN. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the PCU/Step Down unit.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to MedSurg, Tele, and ED as needed.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of PCU experience.
License/Certification Requirements:
- Active Minnesota RN license.
- BLS certification.
Additional Requirements:
- Availability to work every other weekend.
- No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO).
- On-call requirements as needed during holidays.
Patient Ratios: Typically 1:3-4 for days and 1:5 for nights, depending on patient acuity levels.
