Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department in Utica, NY. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will provide critical care to patients of all ages, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
Submission Requirements:
- WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local rate (less than 75 miles)
- Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department with some pediatric experience.
- Documented travel experience is required.
- Skills Checklist matching specialty
- Driver's license with address that matches demographics
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC - TNCC IS REQUIRED TO BE IN HAND
- NURSYS Report for license verification with ACTIVE NY License & ALL RN licenses.
- RTO MUST be included at time of submission
- EMR Experience Required: EPIC
Job Description:
Unit: Emergency Department
Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
Charge Capability: HIGHLY PREFERRED
Floating Required: Yes
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Unit Specifics:
- Common patient diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure
- Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
- Number of Beds in the Unit: 64 beds (2 Triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, 6 psych)
The facility expects that ED nurses provide care to all assigned patients, including SANE.
