Submission Requirements:
- Will consider locals (within 75 miles)
- Up-to-date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in Med Surg with stroke stepdown experience and documents travel experience.
- Travel experience required.
- Skills checklist matching specialty.
- Driver's license with address that matches demographics.
- Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications (NIH certification can be obtained prior to start).
- NURSYS report for license verification with an active NY License & all active RN licenses.
- Requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission.
Job Description:
- Unit: MS Stroke Stepdown Patients
- Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
- Floating Required: Yes
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Unit Specifics:
- Common Diagnoses: Stroke, altered mental status, renal, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation, general med surg, pneumonia, pulmonary issues.
- Specialty Equipment: IV pumps, N/G tubes, feeding tubes.
- Patient Demographics: Adults
- Number of Beds in the Unit: 64
