We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department (ED) at a leading acute-care hospital in Rockford, IL. This position is ideal for an experienced professional looking to make a difference in a busy trauma level 2 unit.
The Emergency Department features a 44-bed unit with a high volume of 200-280 visits per day. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a large, busy hospital ER, with exposure to pediatric and psychiatric patients.
Patient Population: Newborns, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics
Requirements:
- Current Illinois RN License
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Preferred: TNCC, ENPC, ECRN certifications
This position requires every other weekend availability and participation in a holiday rotation. Please note that a permanent address must be outside of a 50-mile radius of the facility.
