Join a leading acute-care hospital in Concord, CA, as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ER). This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, caring for a diverse patient population in a Level II trauma center.
The facility has a 350+ bed capacity and sees over 45,000 patients annually, with a 30+ bed ER. As an ER RN, you will be expected to have at least 2 years of experience, with previous travel experience preferred. You will need to hold current certifications in BLS and ACLS, which must be attached upon submission. Experience with pediatric patients is strongly preferred.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Floating as needed within the scope of your skills, depending on patient care requirements.
- Adhering to state-mandated ratios based on patient acuity and census.
Schedule requirements typically involve working every other weekend, with start times available at 7a, 8a, 9a, 10a, 11a, or 12p. Familiarity with Epic EMR is preferred, and any color scrubs are acceptable. Details regarding scrubs will be provided on the first day.
