We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical/Surgical care for a contract position. This role is ideal for a passionate healthcare professional looking to make a difference in patient care. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical unit.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical nursing.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- No local candidates within 50 miles.
**Holiday Expectations:**
- MUST work 2 major holidays of the 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day.
- AND 1 minor holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve.
