Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate RNs to provide exceptional care to patients in the oncology unit. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to oncology patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and provide education on treatment options.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the oncology specialty.
- Current AHA BLS certification is required.
- Chemo certification is preferred.
Holiday Expectations:
- MUST work 2 major holidays of the 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day.
- AND 1 minor holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve.
