Join a leading healthcare provider as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional care to our tiniest patients. This is a contract position with a focus on delivering high-quality nursing care in a supportive environment.
Position Title: RN - NICU
Length of Assignment: 14 weeks (12/01/2026 to 03/06/2027)
Shift: 12H Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in a Level 3 NICU setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to Pediatric Med/Surg and PICU as needed, within a 50-mile radius.
- Meet weekend and holiday staffing requirements, including availability to work 2 of the 3 holidays.
Qualifications:
- Education: Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN license required; BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience is required; prior travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric patients from birth through 18 years of age, and Pediatric/PICU experience.
Additional Notes:
- No RTO approved within the first two weeks of the assignment.
- Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed.
