Join a leading healthcare provider as a Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in Rehabilitation in Aurora, CO. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing essential respiratory care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Required to work Thanksgiving Holiday (11/25, 11/26 & 11/27).
  • Must be available to work 2 of the 3 holidays during the contract period.
  • Float requirement includes working within the Anschutz & Network of Care (North or South).
  • Weekend requirement: 13 weekend shifts out of 26 (Saturday or Sundays).
  • No on-call requirement.
  • Client reserves the right to float or reassign personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competence to fulfill the scheduled guaranteed hours within the Denver Metro area.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary.
  • Licensure/Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
  • Clinical Experience: 3 years of RT experience, including 2 years in pediatric ICU or NICU III or IV at a leading children's hospital, and 2 years in pediatric emergency care.
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years in Pediatric ICU.
  • Minimum 4 years in Neonatal ICU.
  • Minimum 2 years in Pediatric Level 1 Trauma.

Additional Notes:

  • Holiday requirement: Must work observed holidays if they fall within the contract period.
  • No RTO (Requested Time Off) approved within the first two weeks of the assignment.
  • Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed.
