WellPath Corrections is seeking a dedicated correctional RN for night shifts at a leading correctional facility in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. This position offers an opportunity to work in a general unit for a contract duration of 13 weeks, with shifts scheduled for 3x12 nights and every other weekend if required.
Pay Details: The position offers a competitive pay rate of $23.50 per hour, with overtime compensation at $55 per hour. Local candidates are welcome to apply, with a pay rate of $48 per hour and overtime at $78 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to inmates in a correctional setting.
- Monitor and assess patient health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Current unencumbered RN License.
- At least 6 months of RN experience in a corrections environment.
