Join a leading healthcare provider as an RN specializing in Hospice care in Columbus, NE. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide compassionate care to patients in their homes, ensuring comfort and dignity at the end of life.
In this role, you will work a two-week schedule consisting of five 8-hour shifts one week and four 8-hour shifts the next week, averaging 36 hours per week. This position is essential to replace a contract healthcare professional ending and to cover upcoming FMLA leave.
The facility is a community-owned, not-for-profit hospital dedicated to bringing top-level healthcare to the residents of Platte County and surrounding areas. With a commitment to serving the community, you will be part of a team that values local leadership and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to hospice patients in their homes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families on end-of-life care options.
- Monitor patient conditions and adjust care as needed.
Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of Nebraska.
- Experience in hospice or palliative care preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
