Registered Nurse (RN) - Psychiatric, Direct Care, Night Shift – Selinsgrove, PA
Join a specialized team providing critical mental health care in a psychiatric setting in Selinsgrove, PA. This RN role offers the opportunity to deliver direct patient care during overnight hours, supporting individuals with diverse mental health needs. The position emphasizes hands-on nursing support in a structured environment designed to promote patient safety and recovery.
Job Details:
- Weekly Pay: $2,046 gross ($1,246 stipend included)
- Pay Rate: $20/hr regular, OT $50/hr, overtime available
- Shift: 10:15 PM – 6:15 AM nights
- Contract Length: Starting 06/29 or every other week
- Guarantee Hours: 40 hours per week
- Location: Selinsgrove, PA, psychiatric setting
Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health care
- Ability to work independently overnight
- Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in mental health nursing
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Crisis intervention training
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) degree from an accredited program
- Previous experience in psychiatric or mental health settings
Other Requirements:
- Must be locally available in or near Selinsgrove, PA
- Background check and proper certifications required
