Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Level 2 RN in Palliative Care, where you will provide compassionate care for patients aged 18 and up with intensive symptom management needs at the end of life. This role requires good IV skills, wound care skills, and the ability to manage patients with complex needs and families in crisis. Astute assessment skills are mandatory to advocate for patients who often can no longer speak for themselves. The unit also cares for general medicine overflow.
Experience with patient-controlled analgesia pumps or CHPN certification is highly desired. Candidates must have two years of recent palliative or acute med/surg experience and a BLS certification from AHA.
Requirements:
- NYS RN License
- 2 years' experience of recent palliative or acute med/surg experience
- BLS from AHA
- Experience with patient-controlled analgesia pumps or CHPN certification highly desired
