Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Step Down Registered Nurse in Beaufort, SC! We are seeking a dedicated RN with experience in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work night shifts, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care in the Step Down and Med-Surg units.
- Float between Step Down and other Med-Surg/Tele units as needed.
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:4-5 in Step Down and 1:5-6 in Med-Surg.
- Provide care for adult patients; pediatric experience is not required.
- Perform IV starts and other nursing duties as required.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of Med-Surg experience.
- Travelers must have Step Down/PCU experience.
- Must not live within 50 miles of the facility.
- Current South Carolina RN license is required.
- Certifications: BCLS, NIHSS, ACLS.
- Preferred: Travel experience.
Scrubs are not provided; royal blue and white scrubs are required. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech (TR).
