Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Med Surg unit. This position is located in Waycross, GA, where you will be part of a compassionate team dedicated to providing high-quality medical care. As a Travel RN, you will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. A minimum of 1+ year of experience is required.
Unit Specifics:
- Number of Beds: 24
- Patient Ratios: 1:6
- Unit Staffing Description: Unit Secretary on day shift, PCTs 1:8 or 1:12 ratio
- Type of Equipment: Standard hospital equipment
- Documentation System: Meditech Expanse
- Scheduling Requirements: 2 weekends/month
- Floating Policy: Float to other Med Surg unit or float to ED to care for Med Surg holds or to ICU/PCU to care for Med Surg level patients
- Patient Experience Requirements: Bedside shift report, safety rounding
