Senior Real Estate Analyst:
About the Company: A leading national multifamily real estate developer is seeking a Senior Real Estate Analyst to join its high-performing team in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area. This role is ideal for a driven, detail-oriented real estate professional with 2 to 5 years of experience in acquisitions, development, or investment analysis. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in underwriting new development projects, supporting active investments, and contributing to the firm's long-term growth.
About the Role: This position involves significant responsibilities in financial modeling, market research, and collaboration with various teams to support the firm's investment strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate new multifamily development and acquisition opportunities.
- Conduct market research and analysis on demographic trends, rental data, and competitive properties across national markets.
- Assist in all phases of the real estate investment process, including due diligence, deal structuring, and financial underwriting.
- Create investment memorandums and presentation materials for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
- Support ongoing development projects by monitoring budgets, schedules, and financial performance.
- Track and report on the operational performance of assets under management, providing insights to enhance value and returns.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including development, construction, and asset management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in real estate investment, development, or finance; multifamily experience strongly preferred.
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills (DCF, IRR, returns sensitivity, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience creating professional presentations and reports.
- Self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of real estate markets, site selection, zoning, and entitlement processes is a plus.
