Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg RN in Tuba City, AZ. This contract position offers a flexible night shift schedule, allowing you to provide essential nursing care while enjoying the culturally rich environment of the community. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will be part of a dedicated team serving a diverse population.

Position Summary: The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments, and the ability to work independently in completing assignments. Guidelines include physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, and hospital policies. Nursing duties include support to individuals of all ages and their families.

Experience: Must have at least 2 years of experience working as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility.

License and Certification:

  • A valid, current, full, and unrestricted Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States of America, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
  • Must have and maintain current valid certifications of the following throughout employment:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
    • Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation - TCAR within six months of hire
    • National Institutes of Health (NIH) - NIHSS - NIH Stroke Scale

Limited housing options are available, with shared housing units at $600 per month, based on availability. Please note that no family or pets are allowed in housing.
