Position Information:
- Role: Surgical First Assistant
- Specialty: OB, GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Podiatry
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:00
- Call Requirements: Regular call rotation with surgical team
Unit Profile:
- Facility Department: Perioperative Services
- Number of Beds: 86 bed facility with 6 operating rooms
- Patient Ratios: Standard interoperative care team
- EHR: MedHost
- Supervisor: Geoffrey Talbert, Director, Perioperative Services
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Requisite skillset to assist with OB, GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Podiatry
- Required Certifications: Certified First Assistant
- Years of Experience: 1 year post-training experience
- Personality Fit: Professional, pleasant affect
- Required Education: Successful completion of surgical First Assistant training program

- Any unacceptable attire: Must wear facility surgical attire as provided while in surgical procedural areas
