Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the ICU unit in Dickson, TN. Unit Specifics:
- Number of Beds: 6
- Patient Ratios: Mainly 2:1, with some 1:1 and 3:1
- Unit Staffing Description: 1 Nurse Tech available
- Type of Equipment: Arctic Sun, Continuous EEG
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: 36 hours a week, every other weekend
- Floating Policy: Floats to ICU overflow unit
Patient Experience Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess strong critical thinking and communication skills, along with the following certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS. Experience in ICU is a must, with advanced skills required for procedures such as central line placements, arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation.
Dress Code: Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs are required.
