Join our team as a Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse in Winston-Salem, NC, where you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care in a leading acute-care hospital setting. We are seeking skilled RNs with a passion for telemetry nursing to support our patients with cardiac conditions.

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:

  • Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years of Experience
  • Traveler Experience: Unit WILL accept 1st Time Travelers (Stepdown experience preferred)
  • Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
  • Skills: IV Start and Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias and Management of dysrhythmias
  • MUST HAVE CARDIAC TELE EXPERIENCE, AS THIS IS A CARDIAC TELE UNIT
  • Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:

  • Step-Down experience

JOB DETAILS:

  • Ratios: 1:6 ratio, Avg. Daily Census: 23
  • 36 or 48 Hours can be offered
  • Unit will accept 13-week length or longer to get through 2/27/27
  • RTO: 7 days MAX for Aya Auto Offer
  • 12 HOUR DAYS
  • Float Requirement: YES, Floating is Required
  • Weekend Requirement: 8 Weekend Shifts

PATIENT DIAGNOSES:

  • Cardiac Arrhythmias, MI, ACS, Diabetes uncontrolled, DKA, Heart Failure, post heart catheterization, post PPM, post ICD
  • Cardiac drips. No titrating for blood pressure

QUALITY NURSES NEEDED: We are looking for quality nurses that can handle the same ratios as other units. Teamwork is a must.

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS:

  • Cardiac drips. No titrating for blood pressure
  • Tele/Stepdown/IMC quality nurses needed that can handle same ratios as other units
  • No charge nurses on the unit

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: N/A

UNIT SYSTEMS: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR

UNIT ORIENTATION: 3-day orientation. First day EPIC training, the next two days on the unit.

SCRUBS: Navy or white

NOTE: EKG testing required prior to start for this specialty.
