Join a leading healthcare provider as a Travel CVOR RN in Valparaiso, IN. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic Operating Room (OR) environment, focusing on Surgery Open Heart procedures. We are looking for dedicated professionals with a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing open heart surgery.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in Indiana.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Open Heart procedures.
- Experience with Ortho, Neuro, Davinci Robot, General, Gyn, and Podiatry is a plus.
Additional Details:
- Shift: Days, 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM, 8 hours.
- Call requirements include weeknight and weekend availability.
- No floating required; block scheduling is not an option.
- Patient ratio is 1:1 in a 12-bed unit.
- Scrub color: Surgical blue.
Travelers must attach required licenses and certifications upon submission. Please include a driver’s license and permanent home address that matches the ID. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted.
