Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical/Telemetry in Statesboro, GA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment while providing essential patient care.
**Schedule will vary based on the needs of the unit. Floating between Med Surg and Tele departments is required.**
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Direct and coordinate all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achieve desired patient outcomes.
- Administer medications using bedside scanning technology.
Requirements:
- RECENT experience in an acute care setting required.
- BLS certification required.
- Recent Cerner charting experience.
- 2+ years of nursing experience required.
- 2+ completed travel assignments required.
Additional Information:
- Number of beds in unit: 35.
- Monthly department volume: 810.
- Types of Services: Med Surg, Remote Tele, Ortho, Post-op, CHF, Respiratory.
- Patient Ratio: 1:6-7; PCT has 14 patients.
- Scrub color: navy blue.
- EMR system: Cerner.
