Join a leading healthcare provider as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical/Tele in Statesboro, GA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Direct and coordinate all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achieve desired patient outcomes.
- Administer medications using bedside scanning technology.
Requirements:
- Recent experience in an acute care setting is required.
- BLS certification is required.
- Recent experience with Cerner charting is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience and 2 completed travel assignments are required.
Additional Information:
- Floating between Med Surg and Tele departments is required.
- Holidays and every other weekend (EOW) are required.
- Patient ratio is 1:6-7; Patient Care Technicians (PCT) have 14 patients.
- The unit has 35 beds with a monthly department volume of 810.
- Types of services include Med Surg, Remote Tele, Ortho, Post-op, CHF, and Respiratory.
- Scrub color is navy blue, and the EMR system used is Cerner.
- No call is required, and blocked scheduling is not approved.
