Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical/Tele. This is a fantastic opportunity for RNs looking to advance their careers while providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment.
Position Overview: As a Med Surg RN, you will be responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. This role requires recent experience in an acute care setting, with a focus on Med Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices.
- Administer medications using bedside scanning technology.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- RECENT experience in an acute care setting required.
- BLS certification required.
- Recent Cerner charting experience.
- 2+ years of nursing experience required.
- 2+ completed travel assignments required.
Additional Information:
- Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, with floating required between Med Surg and Tele departments.
- Patient Ratio: 1:6-7; PCT has 14 patients.
- Scrub color: Navy blue.
- No call required.
