Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best care for residents.
Requirements:
- Current CNA certification in the state of South Dakota.
- Experience in LTC/SNF settings preferred.
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information:
- Facility has 44 beds with a patient-to-staff ratio of 7-8.
- Shifts available are 8 hours and 12 hours, specifically 2p-10:30p & 6a-2:30p.
- Location-specific orientation will be provided on campus.
- Common diagnoses include dementia, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, and CHF.
