Join a leading healthcare facility as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Scotland, SD, specializing in Long-Term Care (LTC) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) services. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide compassionate care to residents, focusing on their daily needs and enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning.
Requirements:
- Current CNA certification in South Dakota.
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holiday.
- Flexibility to work mostly days, with some evenings or nights as needed.
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.
This position features a 1:10 resident-to-staff ratio during the day, ensuring quality care for each resident. The facility has a total of 34 beds and utilizes PCC for electronic medical records.
