Join a leading healthcare facility in Hilo, HI, as a CT Tech in the Radiologic Technology specialty. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills will make a significant impact.
Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidates must have a Hawaii License by the start of the assignment. Please note that no RTO will be granted in the first 13 weeks of the contract. Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved application for medical or religious exception will be required prior to the contract start date. The flu vaccination can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment.
Licensure: A current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
Certification: A current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography, and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Shifts: Shifts may vary by need. No call required.
General Requirements: A minimum of two (2) years' work experience in an acute hospital setting is required. Candidates must be able to scan per radiologist protocols, perform at minimum routine CT scans, and function independently without supervision. Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation is preferred. Additionally, experience with venipuncture, performing MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging, as well as procedures like biopsies or drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke is a plus.
