Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) in Kodiak, AK. This is a fantastic opportunity for RNs looking to make a difference in a supportive environment. We welcome first-time travelers and offer a comprehensive experience in a Level IV Trauma Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care to patients during labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for mothers and newborns.
- Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an L&D RN.
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
Facility Information:
- Type of Facility: Acute Care Medical Center/Long Term Care Facility/Outpatient.
- Total Staffed Beds: 46 Acute Care, 22 Beds LTC.
- Parking is free for all staff.
Housing Information:
- The facility provides housing to travelers during the assignment, typically in 1-bedroom apartments.
- Housing will be available for move-in not earlier than 72 hours before the contract begins and not longer than 24 hours after it ends.
- PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
- Housing units are typically large enough to accommodate only the traveler.
