Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) in Kodiak, AK. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on quality patient care. We welcome first-time travelers and experienced RNs alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in patient education and support throughout the birthing process.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as an L&D RN.
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.
- Must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.

- Trauma Level: Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital.
- Total Staffed Beds: 46 Acute Care, 22 Long Term Care.

Housing Information:
- The facility provides housing to travelers during the assignment, typically 1-bedroom apartments.
- Housing will be available for move-in not earlier than 72 hours before the contract begins and not longer than 24 hours after the contract ends.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Housing units are typically large enough to accommodate only the traveler.
