Position Information:
- Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Shift: 19:00-07:30 (12 hours)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Call Requirements: Yes, 2 hours for the oncoming shift
- Years of Experience: 3+
- Float Requirements: Must float to NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, and ED as well as adult acute and critical care
Education & Certifications Required:
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
- NRP for NICU RRT required
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: Varied depending on daily assignments
- Patient Ratios: Acute 1:25, Critical 1:8
- Equipment: Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, Vapotherm
- EMR: EPIC
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Tertiary, teaching hospital experience, Level 1 trauma
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: NICU/PICU, Cardiothoracic
- Type of Patients on Unit: Varied
- Personality Fit: Flexible, team player, great communication skills
