Join our team as a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in Emergency Department (ER) care in Portland, ME. We are seeking a dedicated individual with NICU experience for the night shift to help cover gaps in our respiratory therapy team.

Position Information:

  • Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Call Requirements: Yes, 2 hours for the oncoming shift
  • Years of Experience: 3+
  • Float Requirements: As RRT, some NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, and adult acute and critical care required

Education & Certifications Required:

  • BLS required
  • ACLS preferred
  • NRP for NICU RRT required

Unit Information:

  • Number of Beds: Varied depending on daily assignments
  • Patient Ratios: Acute 1:25, Critical 1:8
  • Equipment: Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, Vapotherm
  • EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile:

  • Must Have Skills/Experience: Tertiary, teaching hospital experience, Level 1 trauma
  • Preferred Skillset/Experience: NICU/PICU, Cardiothoracic
  • Type of Patients on Unit: Varied
  • Personality Fit: Flexible, team player, great communication skills
