Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Operating Room in Portland, ME. We are seeking a skilled Operating Room RN with Level One trauma experience to join our dynamic team. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a 40 bed OR that specializes in multiple surgical disciplines.
Position Information:
- Role: RN
- Specialty: Operating Room
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: 36 (1:4 weekends, 12-hour shifts)
- Call Requirements: One overnight call, 11p-7a for Trauma call, scheduled per specialty team rules (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho)
- Years of Experience: At least 2 years of experience
- Float Requirements: N/A
Education & Certifications Required:
- CNOR preferred
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 26
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Equipment: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot
- EMR: Epic
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Level 1 trauma experience
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular
- Type of Patients on Unit: Operating Room
- Personality Fit: Flexible, accountable, timely, team player
