Join a leading acute-care hospital as a NICU Registered Nurse in beautiful San Diego, CA! We are seeking dedicated and experienced nurses to provide exceptional care in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This is a contract position with a focus on delivering high-quality care to our youngest patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in a Level 4 NICU.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform necessary procedures.
  • Educate families on care practices and support them through challenging times.

Requirements:

  • Must have 2 years of recent Level 4 NICU experience or strong Level 3 surgical experience.
  • Current California RN License required.
  • BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS certifications preferred.
  • Must be flexible with scheduling, including nights and weekends.
  • Experience with ventilators, PICC lines, and other neonatal care equipment is essential.
  • Willingness to float between units as needed.

Additional Information:

  • Guaranteed hours after call-off policy is met.
  • Must be available to work 2 of the following 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
  • First-time travelers accepted if they have Level 4 experience.
  • Local candidates are not accepted for this position.
  • Free traveler parking available.
