Join a leading acute-care hospital as an Operating Room Technician in the Operating Room (OR) department. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are ready to make a difference in patient care. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on surgical services.
Position Details:
- Shift: 12-hour shifts with start times at 7 AM or 7 PM.
- Rotation: Every 3rd weekend and every other holiday as needed.
- Call: 1x per schedule.
- Floating: May float to other campuses if needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of inpatient surgery experience.
- Level 1 trauma experience is required.
- Must have trauma experience.
- Required certifications: NBSTSA (no other certification accepted), BLS.
Department Details:
- Surgical services include general, gynecological, urological, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedic, neurological, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine.
- Number of Operating Rooms: 22 ORs, staffed 24/7.
We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude, flexibility, and competence in at least 5 of the surgical services listed above. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
