Join our team as a PCU Registered Nurse in Columbus, OH, and provide exceptional care in a leading healthcare environment. This contract position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) offers a rewarding opportunity to work with patients in a lower acuity cardiac setting.

Schedule: 3x12-hour Day/Night shifts (36 hours per week), including weekdays, some weekends, and rotating holidays. Travelers will be required to float to different units within the organization as needed.

Unit Details: The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) focuses on lower acuity cardiac patients. Cardiac experience is preferred, with a patient ratio of 1:3-4.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of PCU experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation
  • EPIC experience required

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care for patients in a lower acuity cardiac unit
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Float to units of similar or lower acuity as needed
