We are seeking a dedicated PCU Registered Nurse for a contract position in Columbus, OH. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down setting.
• Float within the organization as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a PCU or similar setting.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12-Hour, 19:00 - 07:30).
• Must be comfortable floating within the organization.
• Some weekends required.

This Stepdown/PCU mixed-acuity unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with general chronic medical conditions. Candidates with only 1 year of experience will not receive auto offers; their profiles will need to be reviewed by the manager.

Agency staff have the following parking permit options (purchased through CampusParc):

• WMC: 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage - $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days.
• WB: 9th Avenue East/West Garages on weekends and holidays; West Campus WB/WC lots 24/7 with shuttle service - $196.20/year.
• CXS: 9th Avenue East/West Garages on weekends and holidays; Buckeye CX and West Campus lots 24/7 - $393.96/year.

Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits. Current and prior months are not refundable. Cancel by 6:30 p.m. on the last business day of the month to avoid the next charge. Refund checks may take 3-5 weeks.
