Join a leading healthcare provider as a PCU Registered Nurse in Columbus, OH. We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down setting. This is a contract position offering a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30.
As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with lower acuity cardiac conditions. You will be required to float within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity and work weekdays, some weekends, and rotating holidays. A minimum of one year of PCU experience is required, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Perform IV starts and manage tele monitoring.
- Utilize Epic for electronic health records.
Requirements:
- 1 year of PCU experience required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Experience with IV starts and tele monitoring.
- Epic experience preferred.
