Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry in Olathe, Kansas. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced RNs seeking a contract position in a dynamic healthcare environment. As part of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care while working night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients in the telemetry unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.
- Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system, EPIC.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 18 months of experience in a hospital setting, with Orthopedic & Spine experience preferred.
- Current Kansas RN or Compact RN License.
- BLS certification.
- New graduates are not accepted for this position.
Schedule and Expectations:
- 12-hour night shifts, 1900-0730, three shifts per week.
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required based on unit needs.
- Floating to all acute care units may be necessary.
- No on-call requirement.
