Join a leading healthcare provider as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ER) in Farmington, CT. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care to patients in need.
As an ER RN, you will work 12-hour day shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, with a schedule that includes every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and participation in call and holiday rotations. You will be required to work 2 of the 3 holidays during your assignment, and all time-off requests must be presented at the time of submission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Participate in a mandatory overtime rotation as part of the unit's staffing pool.
- Float to the Psych Hold area as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- At least 1 year of prior travel experience in the ER (non-negotiable).
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI.
IVS will conduct interviews, and the hiring manager will extend offers. Please note that an auto-offer will be made for candidates with 3 days or less of requested time off and no holiday time off requests.
