Position Title: RN Medical - Surgical (Pediatrics) Traveler
Assignment Length: 14 Weeks
Assignment Dates: 12/01/2026 to 03/06/2027
Shift: 12H Nights: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM
Float Requirement: PICU, NICU, ED BH, ED helping hands, SPARC-E
Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks
On Call Requirement: None
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: BSN preferred
- Experience: 2 years pediatric med/surg experience required
- Certifications: BLS and PALS required, RN licensure
- Previous Travel: Highly preferred but not required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Team player
Additional Unit Specific Information:
The best fit for this role will be a high level of competence, flexibility, and dependability. Candidates should be able to speak up if unfamiliar with procedures, as the client will provide necessary education. The unit has a fast turnover, admitting 12-15 patients during day and night shifts. A strong team-oriented culture exists, with Resource RNs and Charge RNs available to assist as needed. The manager will be accessible for questions.
**4 DAYS OR LESS OF TOTAL RTO ONLY** RTO BLACKOUT DATES: 11/25-11/27, 12/23-12/26, 12/30-1/2. Candidates must be available to work 2 of the 3 holidays.
