Join a community-based hospital in High Point, NC, as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on high acuity cases, including STEMI and vascular procedures. We are looking for a dedicated RN with critical care and Cath lab experience to support our team.
Department Information:
- Average patients/day: 5-15 cases
- Minimum Years of Experience required: 2 years of critical care/Cath lab experience
- First-time travelers: Not accepted
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
- Impella, IVUS, OCT, IABP, RFR
Required Licenses and Certifications:
- RN: BLS, ACLS
- Cardiac Cath Tech: BLS, ACLS; ARRT-R or equivalent OR RCIS is required
Skills Required:
- RN: Knowledge of dysrhythmias, moderate sedation, perivascular cases, and high acuity cases for STEMI (preferred)
- Cardiac Cath Tech: Scrub and document skills; knowledge of vascular cases
Support within the Department:
- 3-person call team (RN/RT/RCIS any combination)
Technology/Equipment:
- EMR: EPIC
- Department specific Equipment: Hemosystem Hemodynamic Monitoring (Change Healthcare)
Orientation:
- NEO: 1 week
- 2 days departmental
