Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg in Lebanon, NH. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
As a Med Surg RN, you will be responsible for formulating individual care plans, coordinating and supervising patient care, and utilizing assessment data to identify patient needs. You will work with a diverse patient population, from pediatric to geriatric, within a 19-bed unit, ensuring effective communication and documentation throughout the care process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Formulating and revising individual plans of care based on patient responses to treatment.
- Coordinating and supervising patient care as necessary.
- Organizing and prioritizing job functions effectively.
- Identifying patient care needs, including education and discharge planning.
- Recognizing and reporting abnormal assessment data, validating and revising expected outcomes.
- Accurately documenting all patient care activities, including wound assessments and medication administration.
- Delegating tasks to healthcare team members appropriately.
Important notes for applicants:
- Travelers must be able to work the posted schedule as needed; shift accommodations will not be accepted.
- Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
- Must work two blocks during the holiday season, including Thanksgiving and Christmas.
- Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered for this need.
Additional details:
- Nurse to patient ratio: 1:5, possible 1:7 on nights.
- EMR: EPIC
- Dress code: Any color scrubs
- Non-Billable Orientation: 8 hours
- Overtime: 1.25% multiplier
