Join our team as a Travel RN specializing in Case Management at a leading acute-care hospital in Alexandria, LA. As a Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating patient care and ensuring optimal outcomes.

Unit Information:

  • Typical Census: 180-230 including W&CH
  • Number of Case Managers: 6 total
  • Patient Ratios: 1:40 M-F
  • Type of Equipment: Laptops, cell phones
  • EMR: MediTech; Midas

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Interviewing patients/families face-to-face
  • MDRs on each unit, every day
  • InterQual reviews on every patient; Observation reviews, DPEs, Discharge planning

Skill Set:

  • Must Have: Case Management experience, Midas/InterQual use, Licensed Masters
  • Preferred: Knowledge of area resources

Best Personality Fit:

  • Ability to get along with anyone, not shy/timid

Dress Code: Caribbean Blue scrubs/white jacket

Weekends: Rotating Weekends, Sat & Sun, 8-4:30; NO CALL required
