Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Telemetry unit. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient-centered care. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with telemetry needs.
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 36
- Patient Ratios: 6:1
- Type of Equipment: Telemetry, IV infusion pumps, bladder scanner, EKG, enteral feeding pumps, BiPap, vapotherms, wound vacs, PCA pumps, trapeze, vein finder, dopplers
- EMR: Meditech
Typical Responsibilities:
- Wound care and dressing changes
- Blood administration
- PCA and epidural management
- Chest tube management
Skill Set:
- Must Have: Current RN license, BLS certification, ACLS certification, medical-surgical experience, ability to care for telemetry patients, strong physical assessment and critical thinking skills, ability to manage care for patients with multiple co-morbidities.
- Preferred: Telemetry experience, prior ortho-neuro-trauma experience, Meditech experience.
