Join a leading acute-care hospital in Nashville, TN, as a Travel RN specializing in Med/Surg on the 3rd Floor. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care and advanced medical practices.
Unit Specifics:
- Number of Beds: 25
- Patient Ratios: Days 5-6:1; Nights 6:1
- Unit Staffing: Days include a Unit Secretary and 2-3 Patient Care Technicians (PCT); Nights have 2-3 PCTs
- Type of Equipment: Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter equipment, remote telemetry
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend (Saturday, Sunday), weekdays flexible
- Floating Policy: PRN, most often floats between Med/Surg units
- Patient Experience Requirements: BSSR, Hourly Rounding
Hospital Specifics:
- Certifications: BLS, NIH, CPI preferred
- Dress Code: Black or Royal Blue scrubs
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have: Strong assessment skills, experience with IV Pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets
- Advanced Skills Needed: IV and foley catheter placement
