Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Med Surg unit, located in Waycross, GA. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled nurses looking to make a difference in patient care while experiencing the charm of Southeast Georgia.
The traveler will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
Unit Specifics
- Number of Beds: 24
- Patient Ratios: 1:6
- Unit Staffing Description: Unit Secretary on day shift, PCTs with a 1:8 or 1:12 ratio
- Type of Equipment: Standard hospital equipment
- Documentation System: Meditech Expanse
- Scheduling Requirements: 2 weekends/month
- Floating Policy: Float to other Med Surg unit or float to ED to care for Med Surg holds or to ICU/PCU to care for Med Surg level patients
- Patient Experience Requirements: Bedside shift report, safety rounding
