Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN specializing in Medical Surgical in Waycross, GA. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced RNs looking to expand their skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. The Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. A minimum of 1+ years of consecutive working experience is acceptable.

Unit Specifics:

  • Number of Beds: 24
  • Patient Ratios: 1:6
  • Unit Staffing Description: Unit Secretary on day shift, PCTs with a 1:8 or 1:12 ratio
  • Type of Equipment: Standard hospital equipment
  • Documentation System: Meditech Expanse
  • Scheduling Requirements: 2 weekends/month
  • Floating Policy: Float to other Med Surg units or float to ED to care for Med Surg holds or to ICU/PCU for Med Surg level patients
  • Patient Experience Requirements: Bedside shift report, safety rounding
